Ramp Up Fat Burner Review – With Customer Comments
Ramp-Up is a sports supplement intended for people who are tired of dragging their feet at the gym and want to perform at maximum intensity.
The main promised benefits are:
- Burn fat
- Boost energy
- Improve stamina and sculpt the physique
- Resist muscle fatigue and soreness
- Enjoy a workout that will pump you up instead of beating you down
Who Makes Ramp Up?
Ramp-Up is manufactured in Boston, USA, by Force Factor. The company appears to have cleaned up its act now, but it used to offer customers an auto-ship option.
According to reports made on several scam sites and customer complaint boards, including ComplaintsBoard.com, many people feel they were mislead into opting-in to the auto-ship program by being offered a free trial.
What is Ramp-Up and How Does it Work?
People who train hard, eat the right food, and get plenty of rest have a good shot of achieving the kind of chiseled physique they desire.
Unfortunately it can often be hard to find the energy and stamina necessary to train in a sufficiently intense manner to make this happen and even people who are counting their calories can often find they have more body fat than they want.
Force Factor claims Ramp-Up provides a combination of ingredients that “enhance the mind-muscle connection” and help people to go above and beyond their normal training and reach their full potential.
In reality, it’s just a product that contains a few common supplement ingredients and a couple of more dubious choices that have very little to offer at all.
Each (2 capsule) dose of Ramp-Up provides:
- Green Tea Extract (240mg): A proven fat burning ingredient that can be found in the majority of diet pills and in some bodybuilding supplements too.
- White Willow (200mg): White willow bark provides a compound called salicin that offers pain killing capabilities that are similar to Aspirin. It’s possible its presence here may help prevent muscle soreness, but regular use of salicin is not recommended because it can irritate the stomach lining. It also has a blood thinning effect and should not be used by anyone who suffers from bleeding disorders.
- Caffeine (200mg): An excellent energy provider that’s a key ingredient in most brands of energy drink. Caffeine is also a proven fat burner. The amount provided here is similar to what you’d normally obtain from two cups of coffee.
- Alpha-Ketoglutaric Acid (100mg): A substance that occurs naturally in the body. It has a role to play in Krebs cycle (assists energy generation) and appears to have value as a supplement ingredient, but further study is warranted.
- Marine Coral Calcium (100mg): Alleged to be somewhat of a cure-all, coral contains 74 trace minerals and is, in theory, a healthy ingredient. It’s not likely to add any value to a blend such as this, though, and is somewhat of a worrying inclusion because it can sometimes be contamined with lead, mercury, and/or other pollutants that make their way into the water.
The rest of the ingredients are housed in a proprietary blend:
Fat Incineration Complex (160mg)
- Maté Extract
Cayenne is probably the most valuable inclusion because it’s a proven fat burner.
Maté is a caffeine provider that may provide the formulation with a little extra kick.
Bladderwrack provides iodine. The thyroid uses this to prodcuce the hormones that regulate the metabolism. The last three ingredients may provide a few extra vitamins and minerals, but are unlikely to offer users any noticeable benefits.
Ramp-Up Customer Feedback
Some people say the product worked well for them. Others claim it’s a waste of money.
A few average customer reviews read:
Side Effects & Health Issues
A number of customers state they experienced side effects, the most common of which appears to be stomach upsets and feelings of nausea. With this in mind, we suggest all potential users seek medical advice prior to adding Ramp-Up to their daily routine.
Purchasing Options & Considerations
Ramp-Up is a relatively easy product to get hold of, it’s available via Amazon and several independently-run online stores. Buying direct from the manufacturer’s website is also an option, but it’s not the cheapest way to go. Customers who buy Ramp-Up this way are looking at paying $49.95 per 60-capsule pot. The Amazon price is only $18:58.
Ramp-Up does not have a money back guarantee.
The Bottom Line
Ramp-Up should have the ability to do most of the things Force Factor claim, but the formulation contains a few ingredients that do not have much to offer and only serve to dilute the other inclusions.
The presence of willow bark is also an issue and it seems likely that it may be responsible for the stomach upsets some users claim to have experienced.
Coral is also one of the ingredients of lesser value and, unless the sources have been thoroughly screened, it’s presence could present more risks than benefits. So, if you decide to give Ramp-Up a shot, long-term use is not recommended.
If you are intent on using a fat burner as part of your gym / bodybuilding regime look no further than Clenbutrol from CrazyBulk.
“Clenbutrol has enabled me to train longer and harder and I was shocked to see I’d lost 5kg in 10 days. This stuff is the real deal.”
4 Gauge Pre Workout Supplement
Whether you are a bodybuilder hoping to grow bigger and stronger, a runner wanting to increase your speed, or a fighter with a desire to be top of your game, you will need to train hard.
The problem is many people find it difficult to find the energy needed to maintain the necessary intensity. It’s a common problem.
Energy boosting pre-workout supplements would appear to offer the answer, but most of them only provide limited benefits and many don’t work at all. The worst thing is such supplements are often sold alongside the promise that they are “The best pre-workout supplement”. 4 Gauge falls into this category.
The manufacturer claims it’s “the safest and strongest pre-workout on the market” and it’s marketed with a lot of hype. Not surprisingly, we were very sceptical at first, but when we took a closer look at the ingredients, and read all the positive things past customers have to say, we couldn’t help but be impressed.
What Makes 4 Gauge Different From Other Pre-Workout Supplements?
The main thing that stands out about the product is the fact that so many people are saying it works. The other thing worth mentioning is 4 Gauge is a powder that has to be mixed with liquid and consumed as a drink. Pre-workout pills are becoming more popular these days, but powder-type supplements are not uncommon.
The other unusual thing about 4 Gauge is the clever way it’s marketed. Even if you are not a shooting enthusiast you will probably be aware a “4 gauge” is a type of shotgun. With its 100mm barrel, it’s the most powerful shotgun available in Britain.
Roar Ambition pack their “gun” powder inside tubs that resemble large shotgun cartridges and the black print is added to the tub in a way that really helps bring the effect to life. Their reason for doing this? “When it comes to shotguns, you won’t find anything bigger or badder than a 4 Gauge shell – now the same rule applies to pre workouts.”

- Incredible energy
- Laser-like mental focus
- Faster progress
- More muscle growth, strength, and endurance.

Two scoops (14g) provides:
- L-Citrulline Dl-Malate (6000mg)
- Red Beetroot Extract (300mg)
- Creatine Monohydrate (1000mg)
- Acetyl L-Carnitine (500mg)
- Caffeine Anhydrous (150mg)
- L-Theanine (200mg)
- Rhodiola Rosea (Root) Powder (100mg)
- Coconut Water Powder (300mg)
4 Gauge Formula
4 Gauge contains some very powerful ingredients. There is no dead weight and we cannot fault any of the choices Roar Ambition has made.
L-Citrulline Dl-Malate and red beetroot are both highly respected nitrogen boosters that have the ability to improve vasodilation (widening of the blood vessels). Vasodilation lowers the blood pressure (good for the heart) and improves the circulation, allowing the blood to feed the muscles with extra nutrients and oxygen. It also helps purge the muscles of lactic acid and other chemicals that are produced while exercising and can hinder performance.
Caffeine and L-Theanine are both stimulants that can boost mental focus and deliver a good energy rush. When they are combined they form a kind of “smart caffeine” that is well tolerated and does not cause jitters or other caffeine-related side effects.
Unless you are new to the world of supplements, or have been hiding under a stone for the past decade or more, you will probably be aware creatine is excellent for improving training ability and enhancing muscle growth and repair. In fact, some athletes use creatine as stand-alone training aid. It’s good stuff.
Acetyl L-Carnitine is also good for preventing energy burnouts during training and research shows it speeds up muscle tissue repair. Rhodiola Rosea is an adaptogen herb with proven endurance boosting capabilities and Coconut Water is so good for revitalising the body and mind it is often said to be a better choice than energy drinks.
4 Gauge Customer Feedback And Comments
A few average customer testimonials read:
4 Gauge Side Effects and Other Considerations
4 Gauge is manufactured in FDA and GMP approved facilities, so it’s a quality product right from the start and there is no need to worry about undisclosed ingredients or dangerous chemicals. No side effects have been reported, but the supplement is not intended for women who are pregnant or nursing a child. People who have existing health issues are advised to ask a doctor’s advice before they begin using dietary supplements of any kind. Individuals who are taking medication would be wise to do the same.
We are happy to recommend 4 Gauge. The combined abilities of the ingredients used in the blend should ensure the product provides all the benefits Roar Ambition promise. Customer feedback also shows the product is capable of delivering the goods. As far as pre-workout supplements go, 4 Gauge is likely to remain the one to beat for a long time.
4 Gauge Product Pricing And Where To Buy
4 Gauge is manufactured by Roar Ambition. The company is based in the Britain and all sales transactions are handled via the official 4 Gauge website. If you see the product for sale elsewhere it is probably a counterfeit item.
A tub of 4 Gauge costs AU$60. Customers who choose to buy three tubs at once only pay $30 for tub no.3.
