Appuloss Diet & Energy Review
Appuloss Diet & Energy is diet pill produced in the Netherlands by Stacker and marketed as a female-only weight loss product.
However, all of the ingredients used in the formulation can be found in countless other products, that are not marketed as being gender specific, so the diet pill for women statement is probably nothing more than a marketing ploy.
Stacker states the formulation works as a combined appetite suppressant and fat burner and say it has been specially developed to target fatty deposits around the belly, buttocks, and legs.
How the Formulation Works
According to the sales page on the manufacturer’s website, the pills use a “completely new method that allows the body to absorb fat-burning extracts as quickly as possible”. Stacker calls it “IRG [Immediate Release Granules] technology” and claim it stimulates the metabolism faster and more completely than other products are able to do, causing the body to start burning the fatty deposits located in the aforementioned problem areas. The capsules back this up by providing appetite suppression, and in theory it all sound feasible, but Stacker does not provide any scientific evidence to back up any of the claims made.
Key Ingredients
Appuloss Diet & Energy contains an unusually high number of ingredients and all but one of them (caffeine) are included in proprietary blends.
One (2 capsule) serving of Appuloss Diet & Energy provides:
- P.E.A. 7™ Proprietary Complex: Acacia Rigidula P.E. (Plant) 50mg, B-Phenylethylamine, 3,5—Dimethoxytyramine, 4—Methyl-2-Pyridinamine, 2—Cyclohexylethylamine, 4—Hydroxy-Phenethylamine, Tyramine, Hordenine
- Epichasine™ Proprietary Complex (50mg): White Tea, Green Tea, Kuding Tea containing 80% Polyphenols, Dextrose
- Caffeine Anhydrous (200mg)
- Proprietary Complex (750mg): Konjac (root), Cissus Quadrangularis Extract (seeds), Guarana, Kola Nut, Rhodiola Rosea Extract (root), Panax Ginseng (root), Dextrose
The lack of inclusion rates makes it impossible to evaluate the potential of the formulation to any degree of certainty, but the 200mg of caffeine will provide a level of stimulation that is comparable to two cups of coffee, so it should help to provide extra energy. Caffeine is also an appetite suppressant and a thermogen, so it is certainly a credible addition to the mix.
It hard to say what function the P.E.A. 7™ Proprietary Complex is intended to perform, but Acacia Rigidula is a plant extract that supposedly has the power to boost the metabolism and encourage lipolysis. Such claims cannot be supported by scientific evidence though. B-Phenylethylamine is unlikely to directly contribute to weight loss, but it is believed to have value as nootropic and is often credited with focus-enhancing abilities.
Judging by the choice of ingredients, the Epichasine™ Proprietary Complex is probably designed to boost the metabolism, provide extra energy, and trigger the fat burning process. The trio of teas used are all credited with metabolism-boosting powers, but green tea is undoubtedly the best of the three. It’s abilities have been proven by numerous studies, one of which was later published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition. Dextrose is somewhat of a strange inclusion, but it should help to boost energy levels.
The intended function the third proprietary blend is less easy to acertain. Konjac is a natural fibre that swells on contact with water and causes the stomach to feel full, but it seems unlikely the blend will contain a sufficient amount. Cissus quadrangularis is a plant extract that is used to improve bone health, but is not normally associated with weight loss. Guarana is a caffeine provider, as is kola nut, so if the quantities involved are sufficient the formulation may provide an energy boost and kick the metabolism into a higher gear. Tests conducted on rats suggest rhodiola rosea may enhance endurance, and panax ginseng is an Asian herb that offers numerous health benefits. Sadly weight loss is not one of them.
[info]How to Take – Capsules should be taken with a glass of water and the first (2 capsule) dose of the day is required about 60 minutes before breakfast. A second (2 capsule) dose should be consumed 60 minutes before the evening meal. For faster results it is permissible to take an extra dose at lunch time, but six capsules should not be exceeded in any 24-hour period.[/info]

Purchasing Options & Considerations
Appuloss Diet & Energy used to be available to buy via Amazon, but when we visited the sales page at Amazon it said they were out of stock. We also had difficulty finding it on the manufacturer’s website. It was not listed among the other products and when we did a site search it returned no results. We were able to find the Appuloss Diet & Energy sales page by doing a Google search though, and the “Add to Cart” button had been removed. All of this suggests the product may have been discontinued.
